Pertiwi Soup Kitchen

PERTIWI Soup Kitchen project was established to provide regular meals at various locations around Kuala Lumpur on a regular basis. This community outreach effort is established and managed by Pertubuhan Tindakan Wanita Islam (PERTIWI), one of Malaysia’s longest running NGOs, with the support of corporate and individual sponsors. I was very ignorant about what was happening in my own country and those around me. I decided for myself to help and see what is Pertiwi Soup Kitchen and what they do and who are these people who need help and much to my surprise, every night , there are Pertiwi Soup kitchen actually spend RM5,000 on food for 600 underpriviledge people! When they started it was just for 100! I am pretty sad and angry that the government and its ministers are not doing anything and just rely on the NGO's to help. What happen to Rumah Kebajikan? What happen to all those tax payers money? 

I am hopping that i can help more and for those who are reading this entry, you can also help!
